The Appreciation Project was born from a love of storytelling, film and a passion for helping non-profits thrive in our digital world. We have social media, marketing and film backgrounds and would like to offer our services. We know how difficult it can be to get the reach your non-profit deserves. That is why The Appreciation Project offers FREE documentary-style videos for charities to use across social media, websites, or newsletters.
FOUNDER’S STATMENT:
Growing up in the North-East of England in a low income family meant that we relied on the kindness of the community. We were lucky enough to be given food, handed down appliances, furniture, clothes, a helping hand at our lowest moments and a shoulder to cry on. Without a community around you it is easy to reach a point where you feel hopeless- but while there are good people, there is always hope.
Moving to London, I realised just how many grassroots non-profits there are helping the community in incredible ways every single day. Kindness and positive actions are how we keep optimistic about our future, I would like to show my appreciation to those people by telling their stories.
