The Appreciation Project was born from a love of storytelling, film and a passion for helping non-profits thrive in our digital world. We have social media, marketing and film backgrounds and would like to offer our services. We know that it is easy to not get the reach your non-profit deserves, The Appreciation Project offer FREE documentary style videos for charities to use on social media, websites or newsletters.
FOUNDER’S STATMENT:
Growing up in the North-East of England in a low income family meant that we relied on the kindness of the community. We were lucky enough to be given food, handed down appliances, furniture, clothes, a helping hand at our lowest moments and a shoulder to cry on. Without a community around you it is easy to get to a point where you feel hopeless- but while there are good people, there is still hope.
I realised how many non-profits there were in my area of London helping the community in incredible ways every single day. Kindness and positive actions are how we keep optimistic about our future and I would like to show my appreciation to those people by telling their stories.
